Sony CyberShot WSC-W80 Digital Camera
Sony has recently launched its new CyberShot DSC-W80 digital camera in India featuring a 7.2 Megapixel CCD, large 2.5-inch color LCD display, Carl Zeiss 3X Optical zoom lens, HD Output, built-in Microphone and Speaker and up to 340 shot Stamina battery.
Equipped with 31 MB internal memory for storage, the Sony CybserShot DSC-W80 supports Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo memory cards for expanded storage of upto 4-GB space. The digital camera support for 5.8 � 17.4 mm focal length, aperture range of f2.8-7.1 (W), f5.2-13 (T) and capable of burst mode shoot 3 to 98 shots in various resolutions.
The high-capacity storage media also make it easier to directly and swiftly upload photos captured to any PC or make lab-quality prints at home on Sony Picture Station digital printer.
Sony CyberShot DSC-W80 features the advanced Sony Super HAD (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD design allows more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing noise.
A top-quality Carl Zeiss 3X Optical zoom lens design made with 6 Elements in 5 Groups, 3 Aspheric Elements helps the CyberShot DSC-W80 digital camera bring distant subjects closer and lets one compose shots more quickly.
Sony CyberShot DSC-W80 features a large 2.5-inch color LCD screen with 115,000 pixels, VGA movie mode (640 x 480 pixels), fully automated and hassle free point-and-shoot operations, and a unique high sensitivity mode which can boost the ISO to 3200 for sharp, blur free photos.

With Super SteadyShot Image Stabilization technology coupled with high sensitivity ISO 3200 capability, the Sony CyberShot DSC-W80 effectively filters off shaky hands and minimizes blur along with brightens the images allowing flash-free shooting using Sony Clear RAW Noise Reduction technology to take care of the picture noise that can ruin low-light shots.
Storage Space
Sony CyberShot DSC-W80 comes with 31-MB of built-in memory and uses Memory Stick Duo cards (including “Pro” models) with maximum 4-GM memory. Sony also includes an adapter which lets one use MS Duo card and Memory Stick PRO Duo in regular Memory Stick slots.
HD Output to HDTV
With direct HD output to a compatible HDTV screen, Sony CyberShot DSC-W80 allows viewing still photos captured and stored in a spectacular high definition clarity and detail. The Sony CyberShot DSC-W80 allows adding creative effects to photos after the shoot which including soft edge filter to soften backgrounds, cross filter to place starry “dazzles” at highlight points, partial color filter to mute surrounding colors, even fish-eye filter to create interesting fish-eye lens effects.
In addition the Sony DSC-W80 provides in-camera correction at the touch of a button to reduce lingering red-eye effect that other systems might miss.

The Sony CyberShot DSC-W80 digital camera has high-quality movie recording mode that offers video capture in MPEG Movie VX Fine mode for VGA-sized video (640 x 480 and 320 x 240 pixels resolution) at 30 frames/sec with live sound. The VX Fine mode requires a Memory Stick Pro Duo card and a 1-GB Pro Duo card can hold about 12 minutes of video at the highest quality settings.
Allowing high-quality prints by simply connecting to a Sony DPP-FP50 digital photo printer (available seperately), the new Sony CyberShot DSC-W80 can even create postcards or calendars using the printer�s supplied software. Sony�s ImageStation online photo service expands options to print tens or even hundreds of pictures, create online photo and video albums, or make customized gifts such as photo books and calendars.
