Motorola MOTOSLVR L9 Mobile Phone
Motorola has announced its new quad-band GSM, Motorola MOTOSLVR L9 mobile phone which sports a sleek Candybar design with a mirror reflective finish and features 1.9-inch 262K colors TFT display, an integrated 2.0 Megapixel digital camera with 8X digital zoom, integrated FM radio, MP3 media player and Bluetooth wireless connection with A2DP.
With similar size as the Motorola MOTOSLVR L7i model, 113 x 49 x 11.5 mm and the same weight of 96 grams, the new Motorola MOTOSLVR L9 mobile phone is a quad-band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz network ready candybar form factor type design and it features a large 1.9-inch (30 x 37 mm), 176 x 220 pixels TFT CSTN display capable of displaying 262K colors.
Motorola L9 mobile phone also offers support for the new MegaSIM card technology which allows for special SIM cards having up to 1GB of storage memory giving option for larger contact book and larger SMS and MMS memory.
Motorola MOTOSLVR L9 features an integrated 2.0 Megapixel digital camera with upto 1600 x 1200 pixels resolution offering upto 8X continuous digital zoom and landscape and portrait modes for still image shooting.
The digital camera is also capable of video capture with sound with upto 4X digital zoom. Offering full screen video playback, the Motorola L9 mobile phone offers support for latest video formats including H.263, MPEG4, and 3GPP.
Supporting polyphonic ringtones along with MP3 ringtones, the Motorola MOTOSLVR L9 mobile phone also features integrated MP3 media player which supports MP3 and MPEG4 media files. Music can be played to speakerphone or stereo headset. MP3 player application also allows repeat, shuffle and play favorite tunes on 22Khz polyphonic speaker or using wired headphone or compatible Bluetooth enabled stereo headset.
In addition the handset also supports all sorts of music file formats for ringtones including MP3, AAC, AAC+, AMR or windows WAV and offers ringtone composer application.
The Motorola L9 mobilephone handset also features integrated FM stereo radio with Visual Radio feature and radio data system (RDS) feature. Visual Radio allows listening to music and interact with your favorite radio stations, finding out what song is playing, who sings it, and other artist information, and enter contests and answer surveys, or voting for your favorite songs. Weighing just 96 grams, the Motorola MOTOSLVR L9 mobile phone comes with 20 MB of internal storage along with 32-MB of internal ROM memory, allowing storage of up to 1000 phone numbers and handset also offers 10 dialed, 10 received, 10 missed calls records. Motorola L9 also offers microSD memory card slot for expanded memory of upto 2-GB storage.
For data connectivity, the Motorola MOTOSLVR L9 mobile phone offers GPRS Class 10 connection with upto 48 kbps speed for internet access, EDGE Class 10 with upto 236.8 kbps speed connection, integrated Bluetooth v2.0 wireless connection with A2DP and it is equipped with custom MiniUSB v1.3 port for wired connectivity.
The miniUSB port is used for both power recharging and PC connectivity for data exchange.
