The 19-inch ASUS PG191 LCD monitor sports a sleek aluminum alloy neck and circular metalic base stand. It features 19-inch color TFT Active Matrix LCD display with anti-reflective coating, fastest response time of 2 milliseconds, brightness of 320 cd/m2, high contrast ratio of 800:1 and it offers maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels at standard 75 Hz frequency in native mode with capacity to render upto 16.2 million colors at Dot Pitch / Pixel Pitch
of 0.294 mm.
The ASUS PG191 LCD monitor’s menus are accessed by touch-sensitive controls located on the right side of the display panel and each button offers varying and unique settings and it offers 3 USB v2.0 ports located on left side of the panel.
ASUS PG191 LCD monitor incorporates the Trace Free technology with ultra fast gray-to-gray response time of 2ms to enable smooth video quality for 3D gaming or DVD content playback.
The ASUS PG191 LCD monitor features horizontal refresh rate range is 31 kHz - 81 kHz and vertical refresh rate range is 50 Hz - 76 Hz and it offers several user friendly features. It also offers 160 degree horizontal view angle along with 160 degree vertical view angle.
The ASUS PG191 LCD monitor is equipped with built-in 5W X 2 satellite stereo speakers powered by 15W ASUS Power Bass System. Powered by SRS TruSurround XT Technology, the display supports the latest game title with 5.1-and 6.1 channel sound standards.
The speakers are placed behind the bottom bezel of the monitor frame. The audio quality is significantly boosted up by a subwoofer which is integrated into the silver monitor stand.
ASUS PG191 LCD monitor comes with a rotatable 1.3 megapixel webcam located at the top of the screen which is integrated into the top side of the monitor frame. Togather with integrated headphones and mic, the PG191 offer high performance audio/video interactive solution for online gaming. The bundled Life Frame video communication software application further lets users take snapshots and record video with ease.
For optimized audio and video experience , ASUS PG191 offers special audio and video modes. It offers 5 audio modes viz. Standard, First-Person Shooting Games, RPG Games, and Theater and Music and 5 image enhancement modes which includes Standard, Scenery, Night View, Theater and Gaming. It automatically detect and optimizes image quality for the best visual results.
In addition ASUS PG191 also allows users to select 3 distinct skin tone options for the best visual results in different video applications.
