Kodak C763 EasyShare Digital Camera

Kodak has announced in India, its new Kodak EasyShare C763, a 7.1 megapixel digital camera which offers 3X optical zoom with 5X continuous digital zoom, digital image stabilization and supports expandable memory card.

kodak-easyshare-c763Equipped with 1/2.5 inch CCD Sensor, the Kodak EasyShare C763 digital camera, like Kodak EasyShare C875, features large 2.5-inch (6.4 cm) wide LCD color display - which also works as viewfinder and is suited for both indoor and outdoor, 32 MB internal memory - 22 MB available for picture storage - with SD/MMC card expansion slot support, and USB v2.0 port along with USB cable.

Weighing about 130 gms (4.6 oz) without batteries and memory card, the new Kodak EasyShare C763 digital camera can capture still pictures in JPEG/EXIF format with maximum 3072 � 2304 pixels resolution (7.1 megapixel).

Other still pictures sizes offered by Kodak EasyShare C763 digital camera includes:

  • 6.1 MP (3072 � 2048) - 3:2
  • 5.0 MP (2592 � 1944)
  • 3.1 MP (2048 � 1536), prints up to 4 � 6 inch (10 � 15 cm)

  • 2.1 MP (1920 � 1080) - 16:9
  • 1.2 MP (1280×960), small prints and direct email

3X optical zoom lens - 5X digital zoom

The 7.1 megapixels Kodak EasyShare C763 digital camera, like Kodak EasyShare C653, features KODAK AF 3X Optical Aspheric Lens which captures crisp details and offers 3X optical zoom (35 mm equivalent: 36�108 mm) without any loss of picture quality. In addition, the camera also offers 5X continuous digital with LCD preview in 0.2x increments, starting at 3X optical zoom.

Kodak EasyShare C763 digital camera also offers upto 20 programmed scene which includes high-ISO, portrait, night portrait, landscape, night landscape, beach, text, flower, children, fireworks, party, self portrait, close-up, sports, snow, backlight, manner/museum, sunset, panorama, and candelight.

Video recording and playback

The Kodak C763 digital camera also allows video capture in standard Motion-JPEG format with audio recording which enables video recording in 640�480 VGA resolution at 15 fps, and in 320�240 QVGA resolution at full 30 fps.
