Lenovo has announced a new ThinkCentre A55 (8985A23) high-end business desktop PC in India which is powered by 2.8 GHz Intel Pentium D (dual core) Processor 915 with HT64 Technology and comes with 3-year limited hardware warranty.

The Lenovo Thinkcenter A55 desktop PC comes with a standard 17-inch (43.2 cm) color CRT monitor powered by integrated Intel Graphic Chipset which provides 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution with 16M colours.

For wired connectivity, the Lenovo A55 desktop offers integrated Intel pro 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN card, a 56 kbps V.92 Modem/Fax card and has 6 USB v2.0 full speed ports.

The Lenovo A55 (8685A23) desktop PC also incorporates a unique Rescue & Recovery feature for quick and assured data recovery in an event of OS crash. This one-button recovery tool is designed to let user recover data, restore hard drive after system crashes, even if the PC�s operating system is unable to boot due to virus or other software related issues.

In addition, the Rescue and Recovery feature can be configured to perform automatic data backup to a server to an external storage drive, which provides yet another layer of security.
