i-mate Introduces i-mate PDAL Windows Mobile Phone
Carrier Devices Ltd. (i-mate) has launched today in India its new i-mate PDAL Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 phone which offers 2.4-inch large touchscreen and features GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g wireless LAN connection, 2.0 megapixel camera and MP3 media player with integrated speakers.
The new i-mate PDAL windows mobile phone is a triband GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 MHz ready smart phone which features 320 x 240 pixels, 2.4 inches size TFT touchscreen with 64K colors (16-bits), 200 MHz Texas Instruments OMAP850 Processor with Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 PocketPC software.
Handwriting recognition enabled i-mate PDAL offers Touch-screen, Scroll button and 5-way navigation button for input and windows mobile phone comes with 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM, with microSD Card Slot for expandable memory.
i-mate PDAL windows mobile phone sports 2.0 Megapixel camera with maximum 1600×1200 pixels resolution and video recording. In addition, the multimedia PDA phone also offers Windows media player software which supports AMR, MP3, WAV, WMA, MIDI music file formats. The phone also features built-in speakers like Sony walkman phones.
Weighing just 116 grams, the new i-mate PDAL also offers exhaustive options for wired and wireless connectivity including 802.11 b/g wireless LAN, GPRS Class 10, EDGE Class 10, Bluetooth v1.2, Infrared port and USB v1.1 port.
