D-Link Launches DPH-10U USB VoIP Phone
D-Link has announced in India the launch of D-Link DPH-10U, its VoIP phone system that plugs directly into USB port of any windows compatible desktop PC or notebook PC for making telephone calls over Internet using Skype and most of prevailing VoIP services.
The new D-Link DPH-10U VoIP phone has been designed for use with any Microsoft Windows XP/2000 based desktop or notebook PCs running the internet telephoney software Skype to make unlimited phone calls from their computers to another computer for free or to any analog landline or mobile number at a nominal extra charges.
The D-Link DPH-10U USB VoIP phone handset can still be used with any other application software (under Windows XP/2000) to make PC-to-PC Internet calls even if one is not subscribed to Skype service.

Intex Technologies (India) has announced 030CD notebook PC, targetted at traveller and student community, which is powered by 1.6 GHz Pentium M processor and has 15-inch large screen and is Wi-Fi ready.
The Intex 030CD notebook PC is powered by 1.6 GHz speed Intel Pentium M Processor 730 with 2MB L-2 cache, 533 MHz FSB and Intel 915 GM Chipset and it features 256-MB DDR-II 533 MHz RAM (expandable to 1-GB), 40-GB ATA 66 /100 hard disk and a DVD-RW combo optical drive.
Weighing about 2.5 kgs, the Intex 030CD notebook PC has 15-inch XGA TFT LCD display capable of displaying 1024 x 768 pixels resolution with Castle Rock GFX in CLE 266 Graphic card.

Samsung Launch NV10 Digital Camera
Samsung India has today announced the launch of a brand new digital camera in India, the Samsung NV10 that offers 10.1 megapixel CCD sensor and large LCD screen.
The new Samsung NV10 digital camera is equipped with a 10.1 megapixel CCD sensor, a Schneider Kreuznach 3x optical zoom and a bright 6.3 cm (2.5-inch) LCD screen and features an innovative touch pad Graphical User Interface (GUI), a sleek, brushed black aluminum body, compact design and 20-MB of internal memory plus support for SD/MMC memory expansion card.
The ‘Smart Touch’ user interface located on the back side of the camera, according to the company, is expected to provide users an experience unlike anything they have tried before by allows users to easily toggle through menu functions using a convenient touch pad located along the LCD on the back of the camera, instead of the traditional dial located at the top of the camera.
Philips Launch VOIP841 Skype Enabled Cordless Phone
Skype today announced a new cordless phones, the Philips VoIP841, that allows cheap calls using prevailing broadband connection, without requiring a computer and special software.
The Philips VoIP841 belongs to a new class of phone that enables Skype users to make and receive both Skype calls over the Internet and traditional landline calls, without a computer, and offers the added convenience of a cordless phone. Another such similar product in this class is the NETGEAR’s cordless phone for Skype.
Company claims that their new Skype enabled cordless phones like Philips VOIP841 offer increased mobility throughout the home or office, giving consumers the freedom and flexibility of not being tethered to their computer. Also, consumers with multiple cordless phone handsets in their home have the ability to hold separate conversations simultaneously - one on Skype, the second on the traditional line - each from a different handset.
LG Unveils Blu-ray Optical Disk Rewriter
LG Electronics has launched its Blu-ray Disk Rewriter, the GBW-H10N, which combines Blu-ray technology with all other prevailing compact DVD optical disc formats including DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, and DVD-RAM in an internal drive configuration.
According to the company its new Blu-ray Optical Disc Rewriter is capable of providing consumers with higher-quality video and audio rewriting, combined with greater storage capacity achieved using deployment of next generation optical disc format technologies.
