Aiptek has introduced in India its Pocket DV-8900 multi-functional digital camcorder which features a high-resolution digital camera, MP3 media player, a digital voice recorder and capability of video recording in MPEG-4 format.
Aiptek Pocket DV-8900 Multi-functional Digital Camcorder is a ideal budget DV and it sports 2.0-inch 115,200 pixels resolution Color TFT/LCD Display. It is equipped with a 5.0 Megapixel CCD capable digital camera with 4X digital zoom capable of recording VGA 640X480 pixels resolution video in MPEG-4 format at 30 frames per second or 320×240 pixels at 30 frames per seconds and capturing still images in upto 10.0 Megapixels resolution in JPEG format.

Aiptek Pocket DV 8900 Multi-functional digital camcorder can also be connected directly to a TV using a TV-out (NTSC/PAL) port for previewing the recorded video contents directly on a large TV screen.
Aiptek Pocket DV-8900 is equipped with 32MB of internal memory (22MB flash memory for storage) which can be expanded via an SD/MMC memory card to maximum of 2-GB. The gadget comes with a rechageable Li-Ion TH-N6108 3,7V / 700mAh battery.
Software bundled along with the Aiptek Pocket DV-8900 includes Muvee auto Producer, ArcSoft Photo Impression 5, ArcSoft Media Card Companion, Arcsoft Media Converter and ULEAD Cool 360.
