Samsung SCX-4200 Laser Printer
Samsung India has launches SCX-4200, claimed to be world’s smallest flatbed multi-function (print/copy/scan) monochrome laser printer in India targeted at growing Indian SOHO and SMB markets.
Proclaimed as a total digital office solution, the affordable SCX-4200 multi-functional laser printer is ideally suited for small offices, students, SOHO users, and SMB users who need to do multiple tasks with a single multi-functional unit.
With 10,000+ page monthly duty cycle and a 250 page paper cassette, the new Samsung SCX-4200 flatbed monochrome (black & white) laser printer also allow copy and color document and image scan without taxing too much the precious work space. SCX-4200 printer is capable of printing and copying at up to 600 dpi resolution and at speeds up to 19 ppm.
The device also allow scanning at an enhanced 4800 dpi depth. It also feature a 250-sheet paper cassette, high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity, and is fully compatible with all versions of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.
With less than 30 second warm-up time, the new 3-in-1 Samsung SCX-4200 printer features a 19 ppm print and 19 ppm copy speed. With its low cost of ownership due to Samsung’s unique toner save function, which saves up to 40% of toner consumed (button activated) the new multifunction is also an cost effective alternative to the high-cost-per-page inkjet models.
Samsung SCX-4200 laser printer produces durable, long lasting black and white prints that are smudge and water resistant and razor sharp with 600 x 600 dpi resolution. The unit is equipped with 8-MB of total internal memory. The SCX-4200 is fully compatible with Windows (98/ME/2000/XP), Macontosh and Linux (Red Hat, Caldera, Mandrake, Slackware, SUSE and Turbo Linux) operating systems.
