HP has recently announced Compaq Presario V2623TS notebook PC in India which is powered by Intel Celeron-M 370 processor (1.5 GHz) and comes with dual layer DVD writer.

compaq-presario-v2623tsPowered by Intel Celeron-M 370 processor (1.5 GHz, 1 MB L2 cache), the Compaq Presario V2623TS notebook PC is based on Intel 915GM chiset and it features 256-MB (1 x 256MB) DDR SDRAM (333MHz), 60-GB Ultra DMA hard drive and a dual layer 8X DVD +R/+RW Writer.

Compaq Presario V2623TS notebook sports 14-inch Widescreen WXGA TFT Display with BrightView powered by Intel graphics media accelerator (GMA) 900 with upto 64-MB shared system memory.

The Wi-Fi ready Compaq Presario V2623TS notebook PC is equipped with integrated Intel PRO/Wireless 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 for wireless connection while it sports 10/100 Ethernet LAN, 56 kbps V.90 modem and 3 USB 2.0 for wired connections.

Compaq Presario V2623TS also supports a 6-in-1 Digital Media Reader and has Altec Lansing Stereo Speakers built-in.

Weighing about 2.4 kgs without battery, the Compaq Presario V2623TS is light and quite portable at 88cm(H) x 23.11cm(W) x 33.40cm(D).
