Nokia announced its new dual-band GSM Nokia 6030 mobile phone in India which features FM radio and handfree speakerphone.
The new Nokia 6030 is a triband GSM 900 / GSM 1800 handset which features 65K colors, CSTN (128 x 128 pixels) 5 lines color display, Polyphonic (16 channels) ringtones and has buit-in FM radio with mono-quality reception and upto 12 radio stations preset.
The new Nokia 6030 is very similar in featuers to the earlier released Nokia 3100, which was also designed as a basic, functional mobile phone with just basic features for mobile telephony. Connectivity is limited to GPRS Class 6 and WAP 2.0 with xHTML browser and there is no data cable provided for connection to PC.
Few other featrues of Nokia 6030 mobile phone includes; Polyphonic ringtones (16 channels), built-in handsfree speakerphone, 250 number phonebook, downloadable JAVA games, Java MIDP 2.0 and exchangeable covers.
Nokia 6020 mobile phone has Standard, Li-Ion 900 mAh (BL-5C) battery which delivers upto 330 hours of stand-by time and upto 3 hours of talk time on full charge.
Weighing just 90 grams, the new FM radio enabled Nokia 6030 mobile phone is quite handy with compact size of 104 x 44 x 18 mm.
