Plustek Launch PL1200 ADF Scanner
Plustek has today announced the launch of of its new range of ADF scanners in India for consumers with high document volume management requirement.
Company claims that its automatic document feeder (ADF) scanners do much more than simple scanning, which enhances overall productivity and save time.
The Plustek PL1200 ADF scanner provides a maximum scanning speed of 12 pages per minute at resolution as high as 1200 dots per inches (dpi), and permits identify of large quantities of documents at high speed by built-in Auto Document Feeder (ADF) that holds up to 80 pages per time. All of the 80 pages can be scanned in just 150 seconds.
In addition, Plustek PL1200 ADF scanner also offers a highly reliable, high-volume scanner ranging from 9 cm by 11.5 cm (3.55″ by 4.5″) to 24.5 cm by 35.5 cm (9.65″ by 14″) which is especially useful in scanning continuous computer paper.
The ADF scanner are more convenient as compared to flatbed scanners which requires the user to scan every page individually and then compile all scan results into one colated document. The ADF pad and feed module are endurable with long lifecycle.

The TWAIN driver of Plustek PL1200 ADF scanners makes scanning as simple as photocopying. The auto detector function of these scanners also allows an auto preview of the scan.
OCR (optical character recognition) software bundled into Plustek PL1200 ADF scanners can batch all scan results pertaining to a task into one single file or individual files as directed which can be saved in Microsoft Office application format. In addition, Readiris Corporate Edition OCR software recognizes as many as 116 different languages and the new additions in Plustek’s ADF scanner family feature advanced ABBYY FineReader 6.0 Sprint Plus OCR software that supports recognition up to 177 languages.
