Epson Launches Perfection V10 Flatbed Scanner

Epson has launched the Perfection V10 flatbed scanner, targetted at all portable home scanning needs and featuring a unique energy-saving mode.

epson-scannerWeighing just about 2.2 kgs and measuring just 41mm in height, the new Epson Perfection V10 flatbed scanner is the Epson’s slimmest matrix CCD scanner.

Sporting a stylish silver casing, the Epson V10 scanner features optical resolution of 3200dpi at 48-bit colour depth.

Using the latest colour restoration technology, the Epson V10 scanner offers a enhancement features in the bundled Epson Easy Photo Fix software allowing seamless restoration of faded photographs with a single mouse click.

While the default scanning mode delivers outstanding results, advanced users also have the option of adjusting the appearance of documents and photographs easily.

In addition, also incorporated in the software boundled with Epson V10 flatbed scanner is a Epson�s all-new backlight correction function which automatically analyses the image histogram to identify any backlight conditions in the photograph and corrects the brightness, sharpness, colour saturation and colour balance of the image.

The Epson Perfection V10 flatbed scanner also incorporates a unique energy-saving mode, which is self-activated after 15 minutes of inactivity. The scanner can be reactivated by tapping on any one of the four direct access buttons or by launching the Epson Scan software.
