Samsung X820 Mobile Phone In India
Samsung has launched its new Tri-band GSM mobile phone, Samsung X820, which just weights 66 grams and has a thickness of 6.9 mm, making it the world’s slimmest phone till date.
The lightweight and ultraslim Samsung X820 mobile phone is made of extra-durable fibreglass-infused plastic for enhanced durability while keeping it lightweight.
Underneath its protective outer shell, the new Samsung X820 sports a 1.9-inch, 176 x 220, 262K colour TFT screen, a 2-megapixel high-resolution camera with 1600×1200 pixels resolution, MPEG4/H.263 based video recording and messaging capabilities along with integrated audio playback which supports MP3/AAC/ACC+/AAC+(e)/WMA and digital power amp.
Launched at the Sviaz ExpoComm 2006, technology show in Moscow, the Ultra Edition 6.9 series Samsung X820 mobile phone is equipped with a high speed EDGE/GPRS, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity for easy and ultra fast content transfer and is PictBridge-enabled for direct picture printing without requiring a PC.
Acer Aspire E500-19W Desktop PC
Acer has introduced today its new multimedia desktop PC, Aspire E500-19W, in India powered by Intel Pentium D processor (3.0 GHz) and features integrated TV tuner with remote and a dual layer DVD burner.

Sony Launches DVDdirect VRD-MC1 DVD Recorder
Sony has launched a new DVD recorder, VRD-MC1, in India which can transfer home video footage in real-time from a camcorder to a DVD media without requiring a PC.
The new DVD recorder also allows recording of digital still images directly from memory cards to DVD media as a slideshow for playback on most home DVD players and PC DVD-ROM drives, without requiring a PC.
Sony VRD-MC1 DVD recorder also enables direct connection to PictBridge-compatible photo printers for direct printing individual digital pictures from a memory card or from a DVD disc.
Acer TravelMate 3242 NWXCi Notebook PC
Acer has announced the launch of its TravelMate 3242 NWXCi notebook PC in India powered by Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology.
Acer TravelMate 3242NWXCi notebook PC is powered by Intel Core Duo Processor T2300 with 2-MB L2 Cache, 1.66 GHz, 667MHz FSB and features Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset, 512-MB DDR2 RAM (upgradeable to 4GB using dual soDIMM modules), 60-GB S-ATA hard disk drive with Acer Disk Anti-Shock Protection (DASP) and a DVD+CDRW optical disk.

Nokia 6255 CDMA Camera Phone
Nokia 6255 is an advanced dual-band CDMA (800/1900) multimedia clamshell mobile phone featuring dual color screen display, streaming media capability, an MP3/AAC player, integrated VGA camera with flash and digital zoom and FM radio tuner.

Sony Ericsson M600i Smart Mobile Phone
Sony Ericsson has recently launched in India the M600i, a slim Dual Mode UMTS, triple band GPRS/GSM smartphone which has touchscreen TFT color display with handwriting recognition and a full QWERT keyboard with 80MB of internal memory.
This new 15-mm thick ultraslim, 3G flip-less M600i smartphone is a dual-mode communicator offering UMTS 2100 MHz and tri-band GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 MHz with a touch-sensitve, 2.6-inch 240×320 pixels 262,000 color display and features a dual-function QWERTY keyboard, RSS reader capability, and Bluetooth with A2DP stereo audio support for untethered playback of MP3/AAC audio. Supported audio formats - MP3, AAC, AAC+, E-AAC+, WAV and m4a and there are no limitations on bit rates.
Each key on the M600i phone’s full QWERTY keyboard handles two letters, one is chosen depending on the angle that one tap it.

Samsung has announced launched of its new C130 dual band GSM mobile phone handset in India which features 65K color 1.5 inch extra large display and comes with ployphonic ringtones and built-in handsfree.
Samsung’s C130 is a dual-band GSM 900/1800 mobile phone handset which is equipped with a CSTN type 65K colors, 128 x 128 pixels, 1.5 inch display.
Weighing only 75 grams, the new Samsung C130 (SGH-C-130) offers GPRS Class 8 (4+1 slots) with 32 - 40 kbps connectivity with WAP 1.2.1 browser and has just about very basic features which includes SMS/EMS/MMS, JAVA-enabled games, 1000 number phonebook, and built-in handsfree Speakphone.
The Samsung C130 mobile phone allows downloading JAVA-enabled games, pictures, ringtones and other sounds, as well as text files using WAP 1.2.1 browse over GPRS internet connection.

Dell has announced the launch of its Inspiron 1300 notebook PC in India which is powered by Intel Pentium Mobile Technology and can be considered a budget offering from company being priced at Rs. 35,900.
Powered by Intel Pentium M 735 Processor (1.70GHz, 400MHz FSB), the Dell 1300 notebook PC features 256 MB DDR2 RAM, a 40-GB Ultra ATA hard disk drive and a 24X CDRW/DVD combo drive. Internal removable optical drive bay allows choice of CD Burner/DVD Combo Drive or DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW2).
Dell Inspiron 1300 notebook PC has 14.1-inch XGA TFT display with maximum resolution of 1280 x 800 and is powered by Intel Media Accelerator 900 graphic chipset. Samsung Lauches SH-S182D 18x DVD Writer
Samsung today announced the launch of new WriteMaster SH-S182D DVD drive which can write to DVD+/-R media at a blazing 18X speed. Previous fastest DVD writers available were able to write up to 16X speeds.
The Samsung SH-S182D DVD writer can write to DVD+/-R with 18X, DVD-RAM with 12X, DVD+/-R Double Layer with 8X, DVD+RW with 8X and DVD-RW with 6X making it the world’s fastest DVD+/-R and DVD-RAM writer in the current market.
The SH-S182D can also write to Dual Layer and DVD-RAM media, largely promoted by Panasonic which pioneer the technology. Since it was not globally accepted standard, few home DVD players support DVD-RAM media outside of the Panasonic product ranges.
Samsung YP-D1 MP3 Player Cum Digital Camera
Samsung has launched a new MP3 player, YP-D1, in India which has 1.8-inch color display and an integrated 2 megapixel digital camera capable of high-quality still and video recording.
The high-capacity flash memory based Samsung YP-D1 gadget has a quality MP3 digital audio player, a built-in digital camera, MPEG4 playback, and photo and text viewing capabilities.
The compact Samsung YP-D1 MP3 Player is equipped with 1.8 inch 260K color TFT-LCD screen and is available in 1GB and 2GB versions. Its integrated 2 megapixel digital camera allows up to 4X digital zoom.
The Samsung YP-D1 features Samsung’s Digital Natural Sound engine and it supports JPEG, MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF and MPEG4 video playback. The built-in speaker lets the unit double as a mini-radio, allowing users to listen to music while playing back pictures.
Sony-Ericsson J230 Mobile Phones
Sony Ericsson has recently launched in India a new lightweight and compact size mobile phone, the J230, featuring a large 65K color screen with a FM radio built-in.
Like all the other J-series handsets, the new J230 is powered with Stamina battery which delivers extra long talk time of upto 8 hours and extended 300 hours of stand-by time.
The new Sony Ericsson J230 mobile phone, which is touted by company as the “Easy FM phone” because of its unique one-touch FM radio activation, is capable of storing upto 500 phone numbers and 50 text SMS message.
Equipped with a 128×128 pixels, 65,536 colour STN TFT display, the new Sony Ericsson J230 mobile phone features includes; MMS and EMS capability, GPRS, a WAP 1.2 browser, polyphonic ringtones, embedded games such as Cosmo White, Cherry Red, Deep Blue and to-do-lists with reminder functions.
Sony Ericsson J230, like the earlier J220 handset, features a single icon per page menu system in addition to the normal 3×3 icon grid menu typically used by Sony Ericsson handsets.
