HP Compaq nx7400 Notebook PC
HP has recently introduced its 15.4-inch widescreen, Compaq nx7400 notebook PC powered by Intel Core Duo 1.66 GHz processor T2300.
HP Compaq nx7400 notebook PC is powered by Intel Core Duo Processor T2300 (1.66-GHz, 667-MHz FSB, 2-MB L2 cache) and it features Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset, 512-MB DDR2, 667 MHz RAM, a 60-GB SATA 5400 rpm hard drive and a DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive.
Equipped with 15.4-inch Widescreen WXGA LCD display having max. resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Compaq nx7400 notebook PC sports a thin light design like Dell D620 or Lenovo and features Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphic chipset with up to 224 MB shared system memory delivering power graphical environment for business or gaming needs.
HP Compaq nx7400 is fully Wi-Fi ready and comes ready with an integrated Wireless 802.11a/b/g LAN connection and Bluetooth 2.0. In addition, it sports 3 highspeed USB 2.0 ports and comes with integrated broadcom 10/100 Ethernet PCI Controller and 56K V.92 modem with digital line guard.
Expansion options are a bit limited with only 3 USB 2.0 highspeed ports which might prove too few if you want to adopt the nx7400 as your primary PC. Lack of a memory card reader and security features like fingerprint readers and TPM chips too adds to its limitations.
Powered by 6-cell high capacity Lithium-Ion battery, the Compaq nx7400 notebook PC is capable of providing 3.5 hrs of fullly charged battery life. The notebook comes with Windows XP professional preloaded.
