Hewlett-Packard has announced the launch of Compaq Presario SG1138IL desktop PC in India powered by Pentium 4 HT 3.06 GHz processor.

HP is supplying a 15-inch TFT LCD monitor along with this desktop PC and has a promotional offer at this point of time offering 17-inch TFT LCD monitor in exchange of 15-inch LCD monitor at additional cost of Rs. 2,999 with a free HP deskjet printer free with this deal.

Compaq Presario SG1138IL desktop PC also features an integrated 10/100 Base-T Ethernet for wired LAN and has 56kbps ITU v.90 fax/Modem with 3 PCI expension slots (3 x PCI slots open for expansion), 1 4X AGP Slot (open for expansion)
