Samsung has launched its new Tri-band GSM mobile phone, Samsung X820, which just weights 66 grams and has a thickness of 6.9 mm, making it the world’s slimmest phone till date.
The lightweight and ultraslim Samsung X820 mobile phone is made of extra-durable fibreglass-infused plastic for enhanced durability while keeping it lightweight.
Underneath its protective outer shell, the new Samsung X820 sports a 1.9-inch, 176 x 220, 262K colour TFT screen, a 2-megapixel high-resolution camera with 1600×1200 pixels resolution, MPEG4/H.263 based video recording and messaging capabilities along with integrated audio playback which supports MP3/AAC/ACC+/AAC+(e)/WMA and digital power amp.
Launched at the Sviaz ExpoComm 2006, technology show in Moscow, the Ultra Edition 6.9 series Samsung X820 mobile phone is equipped with a high speed EDGE/GPRS, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity for easy and ultra fast content transfer and is PictBridge-enabled for direct picture printing without requiring a PC.
Samsung X820 mobile phone also allows viewing recorded pictures and videos on the big television screen by enabling connection via TV-out port in X820 phone to the regular TV. Maximize the visual experience with the horizontal widescreen and navigate all of these features and more with a simple and user-friendly interface.
Ultraslim Samsung X820 mobile phone sports a massive 80-MB of built-in memory but lacks an expansion slot which is so much popular on any latest mobile phone.
