Nokia 6131 Mobile Phone
Nokia has launched today its new Nokia 6131 clamshell type mobile phones in India which feature a good balance of slim and sleek style and practical benefits.
Sleekest Nokia handset to date and perhaps inspired by the Motorla RAZR series, the Nokia 6131 springs open at the push of a button which offers users the flexibility and comfort of one-hand messaging, dialing, as also receiving calls on a fold-phone.
With 112 gms in weight the new Nokia 6131 has dual displays; main display: Active TFT QVGA display supports up to 16,777,216 colors (320 x 240 pixels, 2.2 inches) and outer display: Active TFT display supports up to 262,144 colors (128 x 160 pixels, 1.36 inches) using a clam-shell type of design.
The Nokia 6131 mobile phone also features a 1.3-megapixel Pictbridge-enabled digital camera with 8x digital zoom for still and video recording, an MP3 player that supports MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, H.263 and H.264 music file formats and built-in FM radio tuner.
The Nokia 6131 mobile phone comes with combo memory with 32 MB flash and 16 MB RAM - about 11 MB user data (11 MB user memory: 10 MB for gallery and applications, 1 MB for contacts, notes, calendar entries) and has hotswap microSD memory card slot supporting up to 2GB microSD memory cards (available as enhancements)
The quad-band Nokia 6131 operates in WCDMA 2100 and GSM/EDGE 900/1800/1900 networks, and has support for data transfers through USB, Bluetooth and infrared.
