BenQ recently launches Joybook R31 notebook in India that is powered by Intel Celeron M processor, aimed at providing mobile users a full-featured notebook with premium quality display and rich audio performance.

Powered by Intel Celeron M processor 370 (1.73 GHz), the BenQ Joybook R31 features VIA PN800 chipset core logic, an advanced VIA Unichrome Pro graphic adapter with 32-MB shared RAM for incredible graphics performance and high definition video, 256-MB of DDR2 RAM (upgradable to maximum 2-GB on-board), 60-GB hard drive with DVD/CD-RW combo optical drive.
BenQ Joybook R31 features 15-inch wide screen with DBEF Technology (Display Brilliance Enhancement Film Technology) and ergonomic keyboard design with zero-gap touch pad design for ultimate typing comfort. For connectivity, it comes with 4 I/O Ports-USB 2.0, one RJ-45 Ethernet port, one RJ-11 Modem port, S-video, VGA/D-Sub port, SPDIF connection, PCMCIA slot: 1X(Type II), Microphone-in and Line-out connection.
Weighing just under 2.71 kgs (with battery) and measuring 329mm x 277mm x 20mm, the BenQ Joybook R31 (model Joybook R31E) also sports integrated Wireless 802.11b/g LAN connectivity, integrated 10/100 mbps ethernet adapter, integrated 56 kbps/V.90 modem. Laptop’s 6-cell lithium-ion battery provides upto 3.5 hours of backup.
