Nokia has today launched globally its new Nokia 6151 mobile phones which company claims is its most affordable 3G mobile phone handset till date.
Incorporating both multimedia and traditional mobile features and designed as an introductory model for 3G services, the new Nokia 6151 facilitates can handle functions like streaming multimedia audio and video content, as well as downloading of music and video.
The new Nokia 6151 features 3G connectivity, integrated 1.3-megapixel hi-resolution camera, 30-MB internal memory with microSD memory card slot for memory expansion, integrated digital music player, stereo FM radio tuner and Visual Radio and Bluetooth 2.0 and infrared (IR) wireless technology.
Nokia 6151′s integrated 1.3 megapixel camera has a dedicated camera key which is capable of achieving a 4x zoom and also capable of landscape mode. The Nokia 6151 mobile phone is capable of video recording and has an onboard 30MB user memory, which can be expanded using optional microSD memory card.
Nokia unveiled the new models at Nokia Connection, its annual event held in Singapore for operators, business partners and industry analysts to showcase new products and services.
The new Nokia 6151 mobile phone weighs just about 98 grams and has an impressive talk time of up to 4.5 hours on GSM networks and a standby time of up to 10 days, as per Nokia press release.

The new Nokia 6151 3G handset will be available in a various fresh color selection including black, pearl white, orange, light blue and lime green color variants. The Nokia 6151 operates in WCDMA 2100 and GSM/EDGE 900/1800/1900 networks, and will be available by third quarter of 2006 in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. In India its expected to be priced at Rs. 14,000/- (plus taxes).
