The BenQ-Siemens has launched Q-fi EF71, one of the first mobile phones within BenQ-Siemens´ ‘Q-Fi’ range of music devices.
Equipped with a 10-band graphic equaliser hooked up to a pair of built-in 3D surround-sound speakers and fed by the company’s own music playback applications it lets you customize your music and allow users share their music with friends while on the go in fine quality.

That makes Q-fi EF71 a fully-featured music phone with exceptionally stylish looks with its timelessly and high-quality aluminum surface. For easy access to music functions, dedicated music keys are integrated seamlessly into the surface while enhancing the appearance of the device.
Once flapped opened, the BenQ Siemens Q-fi EF71 features a flat, ergonomically shaped keypad and a large, brilliant 2.2 inch-internal 176 x 220, 262, 262-colours main display and a white, 128 x 64 OLED screen used when the case is closed further enhances the elegant look of the silver and black housing.
BenQ Siemens Q-fi EF71 has integrated 2.0 megapixel camera with 9x linear zoom and camcorder function lets you capture exciting moments spontaneously as photos or video. The 30 fps (frames per second) camcorder function ensures high-quality video recording and playback. The BenQ Siemens Q-fi EF71 can even double as a webcam if connected with a computer via a USB cable and it can be recharged via a USB cable by a laptop while on the move.
Q-Fi EF71 is a tri-band GSM/GPRS ready mobile phone which can play music all popular music formats like MP3, AAC and WMA. It has 24MB of internal memory and has as MicroSD card slot for extra storage.
The EF71 measures 9 x 4.7 x 1.9cm and weighs just about 100g. It ships with a 750mAh battery which when charged provides up to three hours’ talk time and up to 225 hours operation in stand-by mode.
The BenQ-Siemens Q-fi EF71 will be delivered with a Micro-SD card and a stereo headset. For added mobile convenience, a wide range of headsets – with and without Bluetooth technology – will be available as original accessories.
The BenQ-Siemens EF71 should be available in Asia in the color “Stellar Aluminum” during July 2006 and in Europe from September 2006 for a price to be determined in each local market.
